1. The problem we lived
As former CFOs, Julio and Jorge knew it firsthand: the FP&A process is fundamentally broken. Too much time lost on tedious manual tasks — too little left for strategic decision-making and faster execution.
2. The bet we made
So they set out to create the solution they always wished they had. In 2020 they founded Abacum on a simple conviction: finance teams shouldn't have to choose between rigid legacy software and endless spreadsheets. Planning should move as fast as the business it serves.
3. Where we are today
Today Abacum is a global company headquartered in New York City, with offices in Barcelona, Toronto and Buenos Aires, building the most scalable AI-native FP&A solution for high-growth companies and scaling enterprises.
